|Dianne Bachman, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has practiced in the Fredericksburg community for over 20 years, both in the private and public sector. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from George Mason University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dianne also holds an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Contemplative Practice from the School of Social Work at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.
As a psychotherapist, she believes that each of us holds the capacity to utilize our personal creativity to resolve life's challenges and she seeks to assist those she works with to find their strengths. Dianne has gained a broad range of experience in working with issues unique to adults, families and couples. In addition, she specializes in working with children and adolescents around issues such as depression, anxiety, school refusal, behavioral concerns, ADHD, identity, substance abuse, and loss.
Dianne is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and serves on the Board of Directors for Fredericksburg Counseling Services. She has presented self care workshops for professional social workers at the Virginia Association of Social Worker's annual conferences and is a frequent presenter on a variety of topics at the Fredericksburg Women's Forum.
