|Sally Edwards holds a Master's Degree (MS) in Pastoral Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia as well as a Nattionally Certified Counselor (NBCC).
In addition to the Center for Family Counseling, she also maintains a counseling office in Washington, D.C. where she has practiced for over 10 years. Sally also has a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from George Mason University and has been a licensed Registered Nurse for over 40 years.
Sally pursued her graduate work in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, an ACA Division member of the Association for Spiritual, Ethical and Religious Values in Counseling, and the American Holistic Nurses Association.
Sally has extensive experience of over 20 years both in counseling and nursing working with hospice patients and families in areas of grief, loss and care giving. She currently works primarily with adults specializing in Family Systems, making sense of life's changes and challenges in issues of depression, aging, healing of relationships, divorce, job transition, illness, bereavement and communication.
