Kelly Wade, Psy.D.

Kelly Wade earned her doctorate in clinical psychology through the University of Denver in 2010 and
maintains her license in Colorado and Virginia. After 2 years in private practice in Denver, she moved
back to the East Coast to work for The Veterans Health Administration. She has worked with veterans
and military service members for the past 7 years and has significant experience working with trauma.
Dr. Wade employs a number of different evidence-based techniques to address trauma including EMDR,
Prolonged Exposure, and Cognitive processing therapy.

Dr. Wade comes from a Health Psychology background and has a special interest in helping people to
achieve genuine health and wellness in their lives. She specializes in behavioral changes needed to
attain and maintain weight loss and a more active lifestyle. She has experience with and continues to
provide pre-surgery evaluations including bariatric surgery.

In addition to working with individuals, Dr. Wade also takes a small number of couples who are
interested in deepening their connection or who are struggling with challenging times.
At this time, Dr. Wade is only taking private pay clients and is happy to provide a detailed receipt for
clients to submit for out of network reimbursement.
