Tia Bach, LCSW
Tia Bach received her Master’s of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia. She was previously employed with the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board as a child and adolescent trauma therapist at Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center.
Tia’s specialties include child and adolescent sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect. She has received extensive training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy. Ms. Bach has lectured and provided workshops on preventing, recognizing and treating childhood trauma in the Fredericksburg area. Tia’s experience extends to treating depression, anxiety, anger, behavioral issues, self-harming behaviors, coming out issues, panic, and grief.
Ms. Bach uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches with children (ages 6 and up), adults, couples, families, the LGBTQ community and individuals impacted by terminal illness, end of life issues and loss. She is committed to providing quality trauma-informed care and uses a person-centered approach.
