Antaysia Nance, LCSW

December 2014, I graduated from Howard University with my Master in Clinical Social Work. I began my career as an In Home and Therapeutic Day Treatment therapist. I transitioned to the school system as a School Social Worker and later explored the role as an Emergency Services Therapist. In these positions, I have been able to support children to have an outlet to work through social and emotional difficulty and support parents and their family to get connected to resources and support to better meet their child’s needs. I have also supported individuals in mental health crises access the appropriate level of care and resources.

My therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential therapy, Client-centered, and a holistic approach.

I have always had a passion to support children and their families and to build my own business not only to focus on therapy but community engagement and support.
